Back To The Music 於2021月8月8日 Facebook 專頁已發佈的新歌【End is nearing】，唱者兼填詞人Aidan回想過去的爸爸在加拿大讀書時，曾患上腸癌。當時的他孤身離鄉別井，親友不在身旁，只能獨自在絕境中，以信心相信神醫治。
Aidan希望透過這首歌，讓自己對爸爸的「愛」，能跨越到昔日時空，鼓勵和支持爸爸。同時也相信，這首歌的「愛」，能夠進入每位聽眾的心間，安慰一切受苦的心靈。

這首歌，源於爸爸年輕時，一次腸癌得醫治的經歷，當時，他走過絕望、消極，再找出答案，以龐大的信心支取神的應許，最終得著神的醫治。爸爸這段心路歷程，令我更珍惜和佩服，他對聖經的理解、對神的全然信任和剛強壯膽，使他能衝破這些心理關口，得著醫治。我相信，愛是可以穿越時空，我盼望這首歌，能為當時的爸爸，帶來一點鼓勵、陪伴和方向。同樣，也為所有此刻正飽受疾病煎熬的人，帶來神的醫治和安慰，感謝神！
A1:
絕症病人在床上痛苦輾轉，看著門外一個個，身穿藍色保護衣的醫生護士，他們就像一片大海，根本找不出一個空閒的醫生。在重病的憂慮中，病人很急切想知道自己的情況。但他只能躺在床上，無助地痛苦呻吟︰「醫生到底在哪呢？」
B1:
當醫生終於出現，病人焦急地問︰「我的情況怎樣了？」醫生向他宣佈的結果，他半點也聽不進去，因為這壞消息實在令人難以接受。他的心情，就像被困在一個沙漏中，代表時間不斷在漏走的沙，一層又一層地疊加在他身上，他無法制止，亦無法逃避這種令人喘不過氣的壓力。
C1:
病人的身體狀況，每分每秒都在倒數，又像一個炸彈的導火線，快要燒到盡頭，隨時一觸即爆。生命隨著指針的滴答聲悄然漏走，每一秒聲響，都沉重壓抑得令人喘不過氣，每一個思想，都令他快要瘋掉，在各種各樣的壓力和痛楚下，幾乎要失去理智。
A2:
每每經過鏡子，病人也無法正視鏡中病入膏肓的自己，每看一眼，這映入腦海的身影，都深深刺傷他已十分脆弱的心靈。
B2:
這時，鏡中出現一位小孩子的身影，原來，他是病人將來的兒子，在聽了爸爸的故事後，特意時空穿梭回來，希望為爸爸帶來一點點的力量和鼓勵。在兩者見面的一刻，兒子親眼看見年輕時，受疾病纏擾、幾近絕望的爸爸。過去，爸爸在兒子心目中，一直有如巨人般堅強、偉岸，但這一刻，出現在他眼前的人，卻像一個被現實完全破碎的瓷器。兒子深知，爸爸將來早已勝過這一個難關，但此刻，他仍很渴望為眼前的爸爸做一些事，一片片撿起他掉在地上的碎片，重新修補他的創傷、撫平他的傷處。

我們每一個人，都是自己人生電影的主角，雖然，神已為我們預備舞台、擺設道具，甚至，為我們度身訂造安排了角色和獨特的劇情，但唯一能夠完成演出的，就只有我們自己。我們必須誠實面對自己，以主角的態度，面對自己的人生，像一個主角般善良、負責任、有擔當，作出只有主角才會有的反應。事實上，這些都是爸爸教導兒子的，兒子只是想讓當年的爸爸能提前聽見，令這些鼓勵的說話，能夠更早在爸爸的心靈裡，成為他的力量和鼓勵。

我知道在這一刻，世上有很多人身患重病，甚至絕症，情緒長期處於低谷，甚至近乎崩潰，一直找不到出路和答案。我除了想告訴你，我爸爸的神蹟醫治見證之外，亦想鼓勵你們，無論此刻你的人生，正處於哪一種光景，我都希望你能好好珍惜生命的每分每秒，珍惜生命裡不同的細節。簡單如夏天時，我們流著熱汗，享受一枝冰凍的雪條，甚至只是抬頭時，看見天上一朵漂亮的白雲，我們也要常懷珍惜和感恩。唯有如此，我們的人生才有意義，不會白白枉過。
This song takes inspiration from my dad’s past suffering of being treated for colon cancer. At that time, he walked through despair and found the answer through his great faith in God’s spiritual healing! This journey of my dad and how he persevered with the power of a pure heart simply relying on God makes him an even greater role model that I admire!
How much he understands the Bible, the complete trust in God and his strength all added up to help him overcome this greatest challenge in life at that time and get healed. I believe that love can transcend beyond time and space. I hope this song will encourage and accompany my dad who is suffering at that time. Similarly, for those of you who are suffering from illness at this point in time, I hope this song will bring God’s healing and comfort to you. Praise the Lord!
A1:
A patient in pain is tossing and turning in bed. Looking through the small window, he sees doctors and nurses in blue uniforms. From afar, it’s almost like roaming in a big ocean where no one can come to rescue. In the midst of a serious illness, the patient is eager to know his condition. But he could only lie in bed, helplessly moaning in pain, “Where is the doctor?”
B1:
When the doctor finally showed up, the patient asked anxiously, “How is my condition?” The doctor told him the diagnosis, he just couldn’t process any of the bad news. He feels as if he is trapped in an hourglass. Time is passing as the sand falls on him, piling layer by layer on his body. There is nothing he can do, but suffocates by pressure.

Tick tock, tick tock, the patient’s condition deteriorates every minute.Just like a bomb that is about to go off, it can explode at any second. Life is slipping away quietly. Every tick of the clock is suffocating. Every single thought is driving him crazy. He is almost losing his mind under these pressures and pain.
A2:
Every time he passes by a mirror, he can’t bring himself to see the person in it.Every close look of himself can hurt so much, especially for a fragile soul like him at that stage.
B2:
At this very moment, he sees a child in the mirror. That’s his son from the future! After hearing his father’s story, he travelled in time and space to come here to encourage his dad. At that special moment, the two meet each other. The son sees his father suffering in pain and despair. In the past, his dad has always been the big guy standing strong and firm like a giant, but the person he sees now is like a broken vessel. The son knows well in his heart that his father would overcome this illness in the future. But looking at him at that moment, he is really hoping to do something for his dad. Picking up the scattered pieces, he wants to assemble them and mend the wounds.
C2:
Everyone of us is the star of our own movie in life. Although God has designed the stage, set the props and even tailored a unique plot for each of us, it takes YOU to play on that performance! We should all be honest with ourselves. Taking the perspective of the protagonist, see the world from that lens and live out the attributes of a kind and responsible leading character. This is what his dad has taught him. He just wanted Dad to hear it now to cheer him on.

I know that at this moment, there are many people in the world who are suffering from serious or even fatal illnesses. They have been in the lowest points in life and close to emotional outburst, and there seems to be no answer in sight. Apart from telling you about my dad’s miraculous healing testimony, I also want to give you all encouragement that you will treasure every second and minute of your life, and all the small things in life that may seem trivial, despite how hard your life can be right now. As simple and small as enjoying an ice popsicle in hot summer, or looking at the beautiful cloud floating in the blue sky. We should always have a grateful heart and take nothing for granted. This is the only way to make your life count.
